Calgary's Prostate Cancer Institute was established as a comfortable and confidential meeting place for men diagnosed with or suspected of having prostate cancer and prostate-related disease.
The Institute provides current information about prostate disease, research findings and treatment options as well as diagnostic services, confidential counseling and support.
Annually, over 6000 men and their families visit the Prostate Cancer Institute to access medically sound information from a Resource Centre lending library, and to receive support from volunteers who have experienced prostate disease. Medical professionals provide diagnostic services, sexual health and continence clinics. Research is conducted to improve diagnosis and treatment, and ultimately find a cure for prostate cancer.
The Institute, a not-for-profit organization, is supported by the outstanding effort of business partners and individuals in our community together with the Calgary Prostate Cancer Foundation.
