Volunteers with prostate cancer experience offer supportive, knowledgeable, and compassionate listening. Volunteers also help visitors access current information from materials and sources approved by the Medical Advisory Board.
Speakers' Bureau and Displays
Few people are aware of the incidence and impact of prostate cancer. Increased awareness of prostate cancer is an urgent need because of the importance of early diagnosis. Volunteers share their experience and knowledge of prostate cancer with corporate and community groups.
Administration
Volunteers assist by directing calls and with general administrative duties.
Special Events
Volunteers are instrumental in fundraising and public awareness events including forums and golf tournaments.
