Priddis Greens Charity Classic
The Prostate Cancer Foundation is very fortunate to have been the beneficiary of the Priddis Greens Charity Classic Golf tournament for the past eleven years. The Classic has raised more than $3 Million which has been used to support prostate cancer education and awareness programs, clinical operations and research at the Prostate Cancer Centre in Calgary. We are very grateful to the Charity Classic organizing committee as well as the sponsors, participants and members of the Priddis Greens Golf Course.
The Canada Safeway Foundation
In 2009 the Canada Safeway Foundation became a major partnerr of the Prostate Cancer Foundation and now sponsors the Rapid Access Clinics.
The Rapid Access One clinics have sped up the wait times to see a Urologist from three months to and average of one week. Rapid Access Two Clinics
are held bi-monthly at the Centre and include health care professionals who educate newly diagnosed prostate cancer patients on available treatment options and side effects as well as hold a question and answer period after each session. We are excited the Canada Safeway Foundation has joined our
team!

Brett Wilson & the Birthday Boys
Thirteen isn't always an unlucky number. In 2007 thirteen very generous gentlemen turned 50 years old and celebrated with a huge birthday fundraising bash in Calgary. The celebration for reaching the pivotal "half a century" donated funds raised to the Prostate Cancer Foundation which enabled us to initiate the "GET CHECKED" awareness media launch in Calgary as well as create a "user friendly" website and revamp and create new educational brochures. Special thanks goes to Brett Wilson, Michael Smith, John Brussa, Keith MaPhail, Jeffrey Kohn, Brian McLachlan, Glenn Hamilton, Donald Hanse, Paul Wanklyn, Gregg Scott, Robert Proud, Jim Davidson and Matthew Briste.
